Our Company Founder
Gary Breininger is the President and principle share holder of Infobase Marketing Inc.
His academic background includes a double major in both Marketing and General Business Management at Centennial College, York University's Bachelor
Of Business Administration program, numerous marketing-oriented continuing education seminars and most recently, a P.Log., or Practitioner of Logistics designation from The Logistics Institute, one of Canada's most
highly respected transportation-focused educational institutions.
Between 1984 and 1996 Gary held several marketing positions of increasing responsibility in the corporate Marketing departments of Purolator Courier
and United Parcel Service Canada including Marketing Analyst, National Accounts Manager, Ontario Divisional Marketing Manager, National Marketing Planner, Group Product Manager and Group Marketing Manager.
When Gary left UPS in 1996 he was the Director of Marketing for Canada, overseeing all aspects of the organizations marketing strategy including
marketing research, market segmentation, product development, pricing and channel management. He also served as the head of UPS' cross-functional strategic planning team from 1993 to 1996.
Since launching Infobase, Gary has assumed primary responsibility for the completion of over 100 different client projects for companies as far away
as South Asia, ranging in type from the development of strategic business plans to new product launches to market research studies of both a quantitative and qualitative nature, plus much more.
Gary has also assumed various titles/positions for client organizations while serving in an outsource-based management capacity during this time
including Executive Director for two separate associations, General Manager for the North American division of an overseas-based market leader and Director of Sales & Marketing for a mid-sized Toronto area firm.
Gary's strong academic and practical experience in marketing and sales have also been complemented by a number of corporate governance positions
that included serving as the President on two Board's, a Director on five others and a Member of an Advisory Board for an e-commerce based startup.
The common theme throughout Gary's wide and varied background is a love of marketing and business in general, as well as a strong dedication to and
satisfaction derived from delivering results.
A whitewater kayaking enthusiast, golfer and general outdoor-oriented individual, Gary currently lives in Scarborough, Ontario.
